Project Description: Copper Construction Company, Inc. (CCCI) served as the prime contractor on this renovation project. CCCI demoed and installed a new HVAC system including DDC controls which consisted on new AHU’s, VAV’s, heating water boiler, pumps, duct work, grilles, piping, insulation, duct cleaning, TAB and 3rd party commissioning. The new electrical consisted of new lights, panels, conduit, wiring, devices as specified, and duct detectors. The project was performed while the building was occupied. CCCI work closely with the USER to provide weekly updates to progress of work and areas CCCI was working in. CCCI demoed and replace the ACT system to allow faster and easier working area for the subcontractors even though the project did not require this. It made for a better installation for the USER and better finish product. CCCI managed this project subcontracting out all scopes of work. CCCI subcontracted to local contractors in the Morehead City, Cherry Point, Wilmington, and La Grange area of North Carolina which helped contribute back to the local area economies.
